I rather think that it is you who are using Chas' random comment to score points for the political agenda you carry and not the other way around. Shame on you for your gross hypocrisy. You could have easily just answered the question with "I am," and left it at that.

The comment was meant to be thought and emotion provoking, and it does seem to have done that.

I am against the death penalty because we don't seem to be able to administer it without bias or with much accuracy.

I am not against it on moral grounds. That is, I think there are crimes so monstrous that we are justified in believing a penalty of death is warranted.
