It seems you jump around a lot. First and foremost, that is a common Christian tactic to keep from answering any questions, especially the hard ones. I would stick to one topic. It is really hard to debate someone without a clearly defined topic. Something like "Is the Bible a reliable historical work?" or "Is the Bible a good source for morality?"
Then you really need to stick to that topic yourself, and hold his feet to the fire to answer the tough questions.
All that said, I do believe that debating family members on FB is going to be a lesson in disappointment. You are not going to change his mind, and he is going to resent you for it. I think the best you can do is enlighten him on what you actually do believe.
