I've never had any come to my door. It might be because our city is mostly Christian, anyway. One day while my wife and I were renovating our house, a pair came by with pamphlets. I was running an errand my wife came outside covered in plaster dust wearing goggles and a mask, carrying two buckets of plaster and lathe. They said "I can see you're busy" and just left the pamphlet.
