I've heard of it through atheist youtubers. Given that the guy playing the atheist, Kevin Sorbo, is a believer himself, I wouldn't be surprised if this was nothing more than a christian propaganda film. I haven't seen it, and I don't see any reason to. Kevin's character is protrayed as one of those stereotypical "bitter at god" atheists that's just angry because something bad happened in his life.
It seems that the best thing christians have to counter their lack of solid evidence is money, so they're using it to push out a slew of pro christian films. Two Noah's Ark films, this one, and the one about the kid who went to heaven. Maybe more. That's the new strategy they have.
