Hardly are the Crusades and Spanish Inquisition unusual examples of barbarism amongst christainity. The cult of the prince of peace has been barbarious and intolerant through and through since almost the first day when secular restrains upon it has been loosened in wanning days of Roman Empire, and it is not christain charity which is really keeping it in check today.
