This is someone who has decided to completely and utterly abandon reality and may have mental issues.

It'd be easy to think that, wouldn't it? Christains are exceedingly poor ambassadors for their faith, is all..though. All christians believe in at least one form of magic. Roman catholics believe in two as a matter of doctrinal truth, for example....but you'd be hard pressed to find a christian or a catholic that realizes that either.
