I was thinking, growing up in the 90s, there were a lot of great science shows for kids, or at least shows that had a lot of science educational content in them. Bill Nye the Science Guy is the one that comes to my mind. There were a few others but I don't remember their names. And if you had cable/dish, those were the days when the Discovery Channel and TLC actually had science content which even as a kid I loved watching.
What do kids have now on TV in terms of science education? Is there anything?
Or are kids getting an equivalent science education from other mediums outside of TV like the internet, or iPhone games, or something else I'm not aware of?
