I think you're engaging in an appeal to hypocrisy.

The criticism is over this instance of politicking.

Here -- let's take apart the original post (OP):

I waited around for a few days to see if anyone would take up this issue and mention it. As I rightly assumed, the newest scandal involving the VA and the Obama administration have been totally ignored by AF's leftist members who would rather spend their time on the forum bashing those they disagree with....

Seriously -- in the absence of a posting discussing it (I can think of a FUCK TON of articles not mentioned), it means it is being consciously ignored?

In 2008 Barack campaigned that he would take care of our veterans and fix the issues that had been plaguing the VA for decades. Fast forward five years later. Barack has done nothing....

Members of this forum have bashed Obama for:
1. Always kowtowing to the GOP on Taxes, health care
2. Not ending the war in Iraq
3. Not shutting down Gauntanamo Bay
4. THE WHOLE SNOWDEN AFFAIR

To call the absence of an article as implicit approval for Obama is like stating "Because A Theist has not denounced the election of the BJP in India, he implicitly supports Hindu Nationalism and their stated disgust of Christian and Muslim faiths".

First off, I never said he had a point. I said you didn't. You can only think in the context of there being two sides, and therefore thought that if I am disagreeing with you it means I'm agreeing with him. You called this thread shameless politicking, and I'm saying that half this forum engages in shameless politicking, and the reason that you chose to call this thread out on it is because it is politicking in the opposite direction you like.

You're trying to call me out on an appeal to hypocrisy, when half the people on this thread responded with "Oh yeah, well Republicans voted down this bill that would give more money to the VA, so they're hypocrites." Where was your appeal to hypocrisy then Moros? And the gall to call this thread out specifically for politicking, when there's a thread called "Damned Republicants" is ludicrous. Why didn't you ride in on your moral high horse there? You hate politicking so much, go ruin Min's fun. In fact, Min is probably the most outrageous politicker on this fucking forum, you could ask him how the weather is and he'd somehow bring it back to Republicunts. And even though both parties aren't equally bad, they're both really, really bad. I would still go as far as to say that I think Democrats are twice as good as Republicans. But only in the sense that Democrats are 98% shit and 2% good, and Republicans are 99% shit and 1% good. Not equal, they're different kinds of pieces of shit. Republicans are more of a nutty shit, and Democrats are more corny.
