Quote:Discrimination: The practice of unfairly treating a person or group of people differently from other people or groups of people.
That's a reasonable definition, but not the only one.
Quote:Her sister is treating her like shit (unfairly) for being an atheist (treating her differently from others) and not allowing son to see Sherry.
You don't think a parent has the right to determine who her child does and does not spend time with?
Quote:What are you quibbling about?
About a minute, minute and a half. You?
Quote:Thanks for showing your support for someone being a complete asshole.
You're welcome.
Quote:What word would you use anyway,
'Parenting'.
Quote:this definition of discrimination fits. If you don't see this as discrimination or something similar, you're wrong.
Possibly, I'm wrong about quite a lot of things.
But suppose the situation was reversed. Imagine you have a child and a family member was talking up Jesus to that child. Which would you say, 'That's fine sweetie, take all the private time you want with Uncle Frim' or 'I don't want you around Uncle Frim any more.' Given you previous posts here and your general attitude regarding believers, if you answer you'd let your kid have all the talks he wants with Uncle Frim, you're lying.
And THAT'S discrimination, mate. A religious woman opts to keep her child away from atheists and you blow a gasket, but there's no possible doubt that you'd keep a child of yours away from religionists.

No, but it might do you good to read this post twice and try to grasp the tremendous hypocrisy you're evincing.
