I would say, as a spectator...that this is defintely unlevel territory for the faithful. Most of us would both agree that we wouldn;t kill our sons...and if an atheist says "yeah..maybe if i was from some shitty infanticidal tribe i might" it's pretty much a wash. Course, infanticidal tribes don;t always produce infanticidle members. People break the rules, morals change (else how would we get so many different groups of them?).
But for the faithful, it's a rock and a hardplace. You either lack faith (wouldn't kill jr no matter what), or become a douche the moment ghosts are invoked (well..I suppose if god said so.....).
Could skip the foreplay and get into the bit about -why- following a gods command or disobeying one might be more moral according to "both" of your moral compasses.
