I must have missed the news where the prevailing theory among physicists and cosmologists was discarded.

I know you have trouble backing up anything you say, like the typical religious nut, but can you cite the names of any physicists who will undoubtedly be awarded the Nobel Prize for this remarkable breakthrough? That's not asking much, though admittedly, you appear to have very little to nothing at all to give.
