So, really, the epitome of an argument from ignorance.
You also need to recognise that just as atheism =/= 'science', neither is there an 'atheist' answer/theory to questions such as 'where did the universe come from'? Indeed many may argue that that question doesn't even make any sense.
The only, real, logically and intelectually consistent answer to that question is 'nobody knows'. Indeed, what you 'believe' doesn't actually affect the reality of the situation I've outlined, neither does it affect reality as we can know it. Beliefs are irrelevent.
You've effectively proposed Kalam. Debunked by a simple question; what caused 'god' [undefined]? Special pleading ahoy!
On "god did it", here's where the role of the Qur'an comes in. If people couldn't read the copyrights of god on his creations, the Quran has it all.
In other words ; Abraham was an example of a person who didn't need a book, he read the copyrights of god through astronomy. The Quran though provides more details and pointers to the theory of "goddidit".
Not ignorant ; rather than faith. You see, for some -like me and my father ,my prophet, Abraham-, the evidence is there. The copyrights are there. That's all the evidence we need.
What caused god is where the million dollar question lies. Well, you live in a creation -universe-, where you as a person is a creation. In this realm everything is created. These are the rules.
Somewhere else, rules are not like that.
Infinite, everlasting, that is what god is. Simple as that.
He is the base case of the triggers.
A matter of faith. Maybe some call it ignorance. Maybe some call it "insanity".
Though it's faith. and each eventually believes what he/she wants to believe.
Well, I don't believe you.
