So your saying living in a perfect world is a reality? A place where people are completely free of consenquence of their actions?

I rather think there are a lot of civilian casualties in war, Drich. Would you like to tell me what "actions" they performed that led to their deaths?

I also love the part where you see a dead child and a grieving parent, and your first instinct is to blame the victim to save the reputation of your god. And to intimate that there is any action for which the appropriate consequence- not that I think you actually know enough about the man to now his "guilt," you're just speaking without thinking again- is the death of a child.

I absolutly love arguements like yours for one simple reason. No matter what you say about God here, ultimately all of the cold heartedness is the direct result of the actions of man.

... Isn't the moral thing to do to help people? Isn't it amazingly myopic to tar an entire species as unworthy of helping because of the actions of some? What even is this argument? "Oh, all these actions are due to man, therefore nobody needs to help." As though all humans are exactly the same? God knows those who are suffering the consequences of other people's actions in your theology, he could help the blameless, but you're saying he just keeps us all under the umbrella of "man" so he doesn't have to do anything? What the fuck is wrong with him?

If he's going to think like that, then I'm happy to be the moral superior of your god, because I actually help people, regardless of what other, unconnected men have done.

And I guess to be consistent, you never help anyone, right? Never donate to charity, never do anyone favors? Just stick to yourself, because all the bad things are the result of man's actions? And if that's untrue, then why on earth are you holding yourself to a higher standard than you do your god?

Your poorly thought out arguement has to take the moral high ground against God. Or have you forgotten you do not believe in God? Which means all of anger intolerance and self righteousness in miss placed. You should be inconsolably hating one specific race of people and not God if that is your true belief.

If you do believe in God then you are bound to who what and why God says He is and does what He does. Which include placing us in a place where we are completely accountable for our actions. Meaning if one of us orders artillery strike on an area with children, then children will die.

So despite all this "personal relationship" bullshit you guys spout, god really sees us as a single monolithic bloc entity, and not as individuals with free will at all?

Action=consequence in your world or God's. Either way your hate and intolerance is misguided at best.
