However I support your right to choose the political faction or ideology that you desire. But I just want to point out the contradictions that I find in conservatism and atheism(Well technically showing you a video that I claim points my views on that topic). Nevertheless I thank you for clarifying your opinion on that woman. But in which our political views stands for I think is better to agree that we disagree.
That video is a bunch of propaghanda crap. His basic argument is totally circular. He almost literally says even if you don't believe gun control is a good idea, you should believe gun control is a good idea (because you are an Atheist???) He also makes the assumption on the political views that Atheists have. You can't say that Atheists have independent thought, aren't a unified group and then say that all Atheists have so and so beliefs. Then he just make a general argument for liberalism that doesn't have anything at all to do with Atheism. Also he presents a horrible strawman of conservatism, which is just par for the course when it comes to political discourse. I wonder if the said video maker has any idea that conservative thinkers such as George Will or Charles Krauthammer are Atheists (or at the very least agnostics). My guess is probably not. Strikes me as someone who has only ever listened to one side of an argument.
This is just typical liberal tactics where the Democratic party feels like they are entitled to the vote of Blacks, Jews, Hispanics, and Atheists etc even though that party does very little to benefit those groups (particularly Atheists!) They know that they don't benefit Atheists so they bring out the boogey-strawman of what Republicans would do if they were in power. This is even though Republicans were in power not too long ago and didn't do any of those things. The issue of the seperation of Church and State was settled 200 years ago and there hasn't been any credible effort to change it since then. The worst thing that could be cited is faith based initiatives started by George Bush and then doubled under the current administration. So the Democrats aren't any better at respecting church and state. You aren't entitled to my vote nor to my free will to make my own choices.
Of course conservatism isn't contradictory with Atheism because a lack of belief in a God doesn't have anything to do with anything else. There are political opinion that Atheists are more likely to have, but nothing is concrete. To say that I can't be a conservative because I'm an Atheist is borderline offensive to my intellectual freedom as an individual. I can make whatever free choices I want and whatever political choices I want. I choose to be a conservative politically and a libertarian philosophically and nobody gets to tell me what to think just because I'm an Atheist.

She's probably just pretending to be an atheist, but you can't fake that conservative mouthbreather default facial expression.
I want to get my two cents in on the original video.
A. She's probably just an actor who is pretending so that the Republican party can pander a little to Atheists, but possibly not considering that a quick wiki check shows she supports gay and seems to have some other more moderate social views typical of Conservative Atheists. That's fine by me. About time the right pandered a little to Atheists a little. Democrats have done nothing but felt entitled to our vote for far too long.
B. I would rail the fuck out of her so hard.
