So how is that any different than you going up to a immigrant tin your nation and insulting them for their own customs or insulting the customs of say the Japanese?

Dawkins has many times been publicly accused for being an Isamaophobe for his comments; you're so much more deserving of that title.

There's a big difference between an "islamaphobe" and insulting some Islamic customs. You can insult the customs because you don't agree with them, not because you have some hatred/fear of Islam in general. For example, the Islamic customs involving homophobia and misogyny are berated by many people, because what it leads to is despicable, rather than because they are afraid of Islam.
