Um they were never in Egypt at least not as slaves like the OT claims. But I agree, it is about land entitlement.
Yeah, I've heard that. We have yet to find evidence of their slavery in Egypt or the exodus through the desert. Likely no great war of people taking the promised land that other tribes already had, either. The places are real, but the stories are fake.
