How do you feel about atheist youtube personalities?

TTA's vulgarity and rants are often counter-productive to the points he makes (which I often agree with). When he sits on a panel to debate with others, he's articulate, respectful, and communicates clearly without the usage of profanity and rude, insulting behavior - this is the TTA that I listen to. I concede that on his channel he may comport himself as he desires, and that many people like his style there, but for me, I see no value in making a point amid the atmosphere of vulgarity, profanity, and rude, insulting behavior.

If I wanted to tell you that lighting your garage on fire was a bad idea, and I knew that you thought it was a good idea, I'd not waste my breath insulting you for what I thought was stupidity. I wouldn't call you names and swear at you. I'd do my best to appeal to you using reason and logic - without the vulgar bling. These are my thoughts.

The Amazing Atheist is not without tact. He definitely has an idea of when to be serious and when to behave appropriately. I find both of his sides to be flattering. The way he disrespectfully tears into opposing viewpoints is often funny and I see that as a very good quality in TJ. If he didn't have that funny side and was dry and boring he might not be as popular with me or perhaps a lot of people for that matter. It's not like he's using high etiquette. He's just saying thing as it comes naturally to him. I am a fan of shock value. The amazing atheist says things that could be construed in a disrespectful way that I find very clever. He may not be for everyone but the way he speaks reaches me at a personal level and he does more than just deliver dry facts and arguments. I think he has an interesting personality and he is an entertaining guy, as well as being smart to boot.
