In need of a more humbleness. Why condemning the Theistic position makes no sense.

It's better to admit there maybe merit to faith in God, but that you are skeptical as opposed to out right rejecting it.

Due to influential speakers, many are deluded into denying the potential merit something has simply because they don't like that something. This is called a bandwagon, and even atheists are not immune to the bandwagon phenomenon. When such people, atheistic or not, congregate in large numbers they have a sense of might makes right as their numbers give them a feeling of empowerment.

This is why you will never be able to have these people view their opinions without their own bias or bigotry getting in the way. In essence what I am saying is your effort is futile.
