Depression can be caused by dietary imbalances, hormone imbalances (eg hypothyroidism), low cholesterol* (link) (cholesterol being the precursor to all hormones), and parasites such as roundworm** "Signs of psychiatric disease (depression and psychosis) were found in over 65% of neurocysticercosis cases" (link) and I suggest you consider all the possible causes and address each one systematically to be sure. I highly suggest a blood test, if you have not already had one, to test your cholesterol and hormone levels, and the thyroid.
However, it was like prison really no individuality barely any help with mental issues. I got the most help by gaining perspective from other people. It was strange....
Hopefully your GP has already told you this, but if not take charge of your health and immediately start ruling out the physiological causes. Your GP can advise you, and help especially by administering a blood test, if he finds something abnormal in it he can suggest a course of treatment. Most of the physiological causes of depression are quite easily treated. Good luck.
Try as many things as possible, do not believe that depression is incurable or that the causes I suggested do not apply to you until you've ruled them out. Depression has many clinically proven physiological causes. It is also possible that more than one cause combines together to result in depression. It is true that it is ultimately biochemical, but it is certainly not true that it is the only way to treat depression (it may be, it may not be in individual cases). Physiological imbalances can cause biochemical imbalances.
* My textbook on human physiology says that we generally derive 15% of our cholesterol from the diet, which we obtain only from foods of animal origin; and synthesise 85% internally mostly by the liver. (Saladin, K. S. 2012. Anatomy & physiology: The unity of form and function. 6th ed. p. 66). Imbalances can be corrected with a change in diet - eg. more saturated fat (specifically palmitic acid) stimulates the body to produce more cholesterol, more unsaturated fat (specifically linoleic acid) has the opposite effect.
** You do not need medication to cure intestinal worms, just eat two raw garlic cloves a day for two weeks. You can do the same with a pill, but the only appreciable difference is that they extracted the active ingredients from the garlic and put it into a pill, thus it is unnecessary.
GPs dont do shit here in the states. Psychiatrists just give you reliant worthy medications. There is no treatment for depression here, its why we are all depressed. If you want healed, you do it yourself. You learn to become a doctor.
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.
