And your mom's bible may indeed be very dumb. Keen observation, which tells me you don't seem to be in immediate danger to succumb to the religious brainwashing. From what you write you don't seem to suffer any psychological or physical abuse, and seem to have a lot of freedoms. I know it's not quite obvious when growing up, but your mom is actually just a human being with as many failings, strengths and weaknesses as anyone else, and she has hell of a responsibility to bring you up halfway decent while keeping you fed and clothed and so on and so forth. That's not an easy task, and she probably spent a good part of her life doing all kinds of stuff for you, when I'm sure she would probably have had other hobbies and interests herself which do not involve sinking all available energy into the child parasite. So be fucking nice to her even if she for fucking once doesn't do exactly as it pleases you. Sheesh.
