Oh no! A dozen witnessess signed an affidavit that they saw Joseph Smith translate it from gold tablets. And it says it is the word of god. And if you ask god with a sincere heart he will confirm that it is the word of god. How could any Christian not read it and sincerely ask god to tell them that it is the word of god?

Those are the very verses Mormons use to convert people and millions of people have converted by simply asking god sincerely if the Book of Mormon is the word of god. Talk to the nice young men who visit your house in their clean white shirts. They too have read Moroni. It is the heart of the Book of Mormon.
If there is a god, I want to believe that there is a god. If there is not a god, I want to believe that there is no god.
