That's because you aren't being honest. If you were honest, you'd admit that you learned about the concepts mentioned, decided you liked them, and built your religion around them. But since you didn't want to subscribe to other aspects of the faiths, you took only those parts you liked and left the rest to create a hodge-podge bit of pseudo-babbling faith all your own.
Which is why I used the term 'cherry-pick'. You picked the parts you liked, such as the reincarnation, self-determination, every man is part of the whole and thus a god/God, and ignored the rest because you wanted to make your own unyk! religion so you could be special and because you arbitrarily decided you were the only person in the whole of the world who could possibly grok the Truth, when in reality you are just another loon looking for a comet.
