It's ok - I've been singing with a mixed choir in christmas and advent services for the past years, and even in a monastery on some occasions. It also feels a bit weird to me especially since most everyone else in the choir is quite catholic, but they know I'm atheist, and in this country it's not such a big deal anyways. You can count on it that at least 50% of the people attending the service are just going through the motions as well.
