The law will most certainly change because we got to see how the police actually behaved in the Gardner case. After it does, next time someone dies because of a choke hold, a cop will be prosecuted.
The cop who shot Oscar Grant was prosecuted and it probably would not have happened if it weren't for the video.
It baffles me that people are even making the claim "what is the point of body cameras". Well the point of the body cameras is so that the policed can police the police.
I definitely think they should have to wear them. I'm just not so sure that anything will actually change. Call it a lack of faith...
