Just for clarity, a homicide is just the killing of a human being by another, it has nothing to do with legality. A killing in self defense is a homicide too, as are accidental killings of one person by another. The coroner declared that because it's what happened. Coroners are not lawyers, judges or jury and don't have anything to do with that process. Too many people confuse the technical term homicide with murder because the terms are often interchanged with one another on television and in popular language.
That being said I'm fully for the cop being changed and thrown in prison for murder because that is what happened. Cops killing people will not stop until they realize they are not above the law when they are wearing a blue uniform.
