I never understood the point to Calvinism. If god has already preordained who's to be saved, then why bother?
That concept is Paulinian in nature, John Calvin simply pointed back to it.
So why bother?
Because 'we' don't know who has been called and who has not. Look at the example of Paul/Saul of Tarsus. He started out life Hating Christians, and ended up being one of the Founding Fathers of the Church.
This mean just because one maybe at odds with God now, does not mean God has not called them home.. That said not all are called come.
So again why bother? Because 'we'/none of us Christian or not know who has or has not been called home.

More to the point, if he preordained those to be saved why bother letting my mum give birth to me?
How do you know you haven't been pre-ordained to be saved?

It makes me wonder if their practice of Christianity is mostly limited to role playing on the internet. Maybe preaching on forums is their primary means of feeling Christian? I don't understand why Christians never want to say specifically what they believe. They always say they aren't religious and so forth. Probably they keep their specific beliefs nebulous so nobody can criticize them.
See the above comments and do your worst.
