OK, the question is completely rhetorical but, being the total nerd that I am, I can't help but ask:
Wouldn't the sudden mixing of such a massive quantity of fresh water (from the "rains from Heaven") mixing with the salt water of the sea effectively kill off all fish, both fresh water and salt water?
