I like the book of revelation.

I'm not surprised.

Why? Because it's something we all get to look forward to.

Speak for yourself. I don't usually wallow in violent fantasies of epic proportions. Gallows humor is one thing but . . . fuck, man! I know you believe you'll be singing in some heavenly choir or stroking Jesus' balls or something, but 'looking forward' to what is described in that sick book? Beyond the pale.

Meaning the harder you all work at being atheist the faster the cup of man's iniquity gets filled triggering the end time events.

Um, two things: first, it's not work to not believe nonsense; second, there's nothing iniquitous about not believing nonsense, despite what your instruction manual on thought control says.

Who know maybe most of us/you will get to see what it was john was trying to describe.

I'm going with 'no' -- not you, not me, not anyone. And that's a good thing, at least to those of us who haven't willfully unmoored ourselves from reality or basic compassion. They say that Jesus wept over Jerusalem. You, Drich, gloat over the world because you think you're going to be on the 'winning' side. It's sick and pathetic.

We've Got to remember that revelation was not written as a book of prophesy, but as a historical account of what John saw and his best efforts to describe it.

Blah, blah, blah. If you let me give you a tab of bad acid and select your viewing and musical experience, I may not get you to seeing blood rising to the height of horses' bridles, but I can probably get you close enough to satisfy your strange blood lust for a while. Deal?
