I live out in the country, and we have coyotes and cougars locally. I haven't yet bought a shotgun, but it's on the shopping list.
RationalPoet.......That is more understandable. But even with wild animals most of the time a loud noise without actually shooting them will scare them off. Still does not change that we have way too many guns as a result of an industry, much like big oil doesn't care about green house gasses, we still have way too many.
