Lets do some math then. At perigee, the moon is 363,104 km from the earth. At the current rate of escape, 3.8cm a year, 20k years ago it would have been .76km closer than it is now. 363,103.24km from the earth. Is this the point at which you reckon it would be pulled back?

-Lets add another 10k years. 1.14km closer. 363,102.86km.

That sound about right to you GC?

Also tides would have been a bit rough last ear wouldn't it? I mean the moon controls tides and such i mean if it was so close then back in the biblical days everyone would have drowned to death... not even Noah could have lived though that. I mean no humans would even be around..... GC killed his own argument...
