You do understand the book of "Proverbs" do you not?
Probably a little better than you do.
Proverbs is what is known as a book of wisdom, and is apart of what is known to the jews as 'The writtings.' The writtings contain everything not prophetic, historical or the law. Meaning there are no commands in the book of proverbs. That is why I asked you if you understood the term proverb. It was a hint to what was in the book and why it was named proverbs. Proverbs contain little bits of wisdom like: a penny saved is a penny earned, or the early bird gets the worm. To say 'lean not unto your own understanding' is a command, is just as foolish as saying one must save all pennies as per the law.

Nothing gets your point across any better then quoting a website that has warnings.
