Dear Religion,
Our relationship isn't quite what you think it is. You're always looking over my shoulder, judging me and telling me how I got things wrong. Then, in your inconsistency and unpredictability, you go and take credit for my work that you like. You're constantly putting me down, and most of the time you do that using the fruits of my labor. I may not be perfect, but your arrogance and over-bearing nature make it impossible for me to function. In short, you're going to have to move out.
Oh, and it's not me, it's you.
Yours truly,
Science.

Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell
