Omg seriously?
Here are ten issues I have dealt with this week.
1)I believe that there is more than one group of Christians going to heaven.
2) the type of music I used in my classes
3) they teach a check list theology/legalism/rules based salvation (what most of you believe)
4)God isn't sending people to Hell to burn forever.
5) the doctrine of grace and forgiveness, verses the old 'you need to try harder and follow God's law more closely.'
6) My views on salvation/baptism (basically what I told you that we are only responsible to what we have been given rather than a specific 8 point plan that one must follow to the letter)
7) they don't like how I take meaning from the bible by citing whole blocks, chapters and even whole books as points or proof for a precept or idea. (Over board with context)
8) they hold tightly to their specific traditions for the sake of tradition. I always need to know why we do what we do. (I ask too many questions.)
9) I do not respect the elders final 'verdicts' on doctrinal matters if they can not properly support their various doctrines.
10) I do not subscribe to their specific brand of Christianity
