That word you're using, 'opinion'. I dont think it means what you think it does. She had a good chance of life, of which she didn't avail herself, with the collusion of her parents. She opted out of what medical science had to offer in favor of alternative treatment, which, predictably, failed. Those are the facts of the case.
Now you may say she might have died anyway, which is true, but going down fighting for your future is not the same thing as throwing it away.
