Full time Christians may be able to answer better, but I think in Christianlogic, religion is a consequence of the fall - once Adam and Eve had messed up, we in principle had the ability to tell good from bad, and there was no going back. We are all guilty anyways. And then we needed Christ to redeem us. But yeah, why the need for further instructions and commandments if we have "the skill"?
