'Zeitgeist' is the kind of thing which seems to have largely replaced the "God is an alien" genre made popular by Erich Von Daniken.
Typically,there are a lot of assumptions, suppositions, misinformation and an inability to grasp the difference between correlation and causation. It has a lot in common with the offerings of that hack,Dan Brown.
It's fiction, light entertainment, not to be confused with scholarly work.
