Qur'an 5:33: The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger, and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is: execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides, or exile from the land: that is their disgrace in this world, and a heavy punishment is theirs in the Hereafter;
Now, if barbecue had been on the list of punishments in this verse we wouldn't have heard a peep out of these psychopaths. I certainly hope people don't suddenly think that these state and religious leaders are finally starting to see the light. On the contrary, this is a perfect demonstration of how dangerous interpretations like Wahhabism really are.
