But God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son so that he who may believe shall have eternal life. You will be held accountable for your sins, “If you love me, you will keep my commandments".
Simple as mud. What is sin? Why is the punishment for sin death? Does it matter what sin, or is it just any sin including cookie theft? Is god bound by the rule "the wages of sin are death"? If so why? If not why would god need to kill anyone innocent to change the rule? And why would punishing an innocent ever under any circumstances wipe away the crime of a guilty party?
If there is a god, I want to believe that there is a god. If there is not a god, I want to believe that there is no god.
