The god of the Bible is guilty of a lot of things if you read the stories. Primarily, he's guilty of seriously overthinking situations that could have been easily resolved without making people who had nothing to do with crossing him suffer punishments for thousands of years, with the prospect of suffering even worse punishment for eternity if they don't pat him on the back for being such a cruddy planner.
