Unless that person was in cold water beforehand and suffered extreme hypothermia, the chances of survival are slim. Cells start to die at normal temperature after 6 or 7 minutes without any sort of stimulation and this can be irreversible. The reason why I brought up hypothermia is simply because it prolongs the life of the cells.
