There are always a few long-time Christian members on every atheist forum. I've noticed two types:
(1) Jello intellectual: they say deep-sounding things, but determining what they are advocating is like trying to nail jello to the wall.
(2) Spunky scrapper: they thrive on being ridiculed by atheists and don't seem to have any other objective.
I have heard that people define themselves by what makes them different. So a Christian might feel more like a Christian by being on an atheist forum?
Any ideas? (Of course no insult is intended to Christian members. Everybody is different, and I'm sure the stereotypes I listed aren't perfect.)
I suspect it may be the same things that motivate atheists to hang out at Christian forums! Also...you may have suggested another topic thread: Is there a perfect stereotype?
If anything really i just really like seeing people talk about their own interpretations really otherwise i keep my worldview to myself on those types of forums.
