This is what gets me about people who say the Canaanites were killed because they were sacrificing children. As if these people could read exodus, and think Yahweh was angered by the killing of children on principle. If the Canaans were killing children, and Yahweh was mad about it, it was likely more because they weren't shouting his name when they killed the children.
