Parents forcing a christian convention on me - how to keep sane?

if you are 16, you should be able to make it on your own until you reach college age.   It's your call whether you chose to live a charade for handouts from those who, face it, you think really do despise you for who you really are - a fact not changed in the least by your pretending to be something you are not, or see if you have the resource and resolve to make it without their handout, and who knows, maybe you will find out they may in fact accept you for who you are if you make it clear enough who you really are?
