Acts 10:11-15
Are you saying you ignore the OT?
I treat the OT and NT like I do the Constitution....if there is something from the NT that amends the OT, I will go with the ammended version just like I have the right not to self incriminate.
That goes both ways. In the OT, I could divorce and remarry as I saw fit....in the NT, I would generally not be able to remarry after getting divorced.
But you also seem to ignore the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:17-18, just as you ignored my previous post in which I quoted those verses. Here they are again:
17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
How do you reconcile those verses, in which Jesus Himself specifically states that ALL of the laws are to be kept, in ALL of their detail, "till heaven and earth pass" and "all be fulfilled"? Do the words of Jesus Himself mean less to you than the writings of the authors of various New Testament books? Is Jesus to be ignored? Is He just saying falsehood and nonsense? Is that what you are telling us?
