Hivemind?  The fact alone that there are two dissenting ideas from two different, prominent atheists on the forum, and that one of the "atheists" you're quoting is actually a deist (hint: it's in his user name), it's just a strawman you've built.

Edit: actually, three different prominent atheists and a deist, all with differing viewpoints.

I'm all for people having differing opinions, DeistPaladin clearly isn't.

I expect Christian apologists to spew this kind of crap. I can't completely blame them for it as they're brainwashed. What is your excuse? As an atheist, you should know better.

How about vertebrates.  They all have a common feature,  a spine.  Did he just take two generic vertebrates?

This is why it's so embarrassing when Christians try to shoehorn science into the bible story.  They generally know lots about the bible and piss all about science.  

Animals have very clear classification systems.  Genus.  Species that style of thing.  They have clear meanings.  So what exactly is a "sort"?

did you miss the part in the definition where is states "category of things"
ie. the different family of animals.

Apparently I was right, seeing how later he changed his religious views to "baby atheist in training"... now he is an "indiscriminate apologist", whatever that is.
