It is. It's still a pretty religious place compared to either coast.

I echo the others... as long as he has someone who thinks critically in his corner... it just sucks to have to add that into the equation, when things are bad enough.   I feel for ya.

I've gone through this, in a way, before. After our breakup, my son's mother was seeing a lady who was evangelist Christian (and a bisexual, right). Michelle insisted on trying to push religion on my son, who was four at the time, which was obvious because my son would ask me what I thought of things like Jesus or the Devil. Aside from telling his mother to have her knock the shit off or else we would reopen the custody case to remove him from Michelle's influence, I gave him straight answers regarding his questions. It was a difficult time, for a year or so, until their relationship went under for other reasons.
