I don't mind the celebrating of minor plays in NFL. Usually the celebrations in these situations go unnoticed, for one thing, but also every position in the NFL is specialized, so even if the play isn't flashy and its just a guy executing what his position calls for, that's going on his highlight reel/resume. So long as he doesn't excessively celebrate, I don't see anything wrong with a player being excited for just doing exactly what he needed to do.
Apparently, the only thing worth celebrating in soccer is a goal. You never see a "good soccer play" on SC's Top Ten. Whether or not the goal takes the #1 spot depends on the time of year. Haha I'm just kidding, the rest of the world; I'm sure soccer is fun.
