I'm saying that the definition of the word 'atheism' is what it is. Words have meaning for a reason. If you use words, but are defining them with your own personal alterations and amendments, then you are failing to communicate clearly.

So you're saying that we are all slaves to dictionaries, that the dictionaries we compile as a civilisation are our masters. I think the problem here is that I am communicating only too clearly, and you don't like what I'm saying.

Nope. I'm saying that definitions are an important part of communication. If individuals are giving different, personal definitions to the words they are using to communicate with each other, the communications will break down into confusion.
