So because the word can mean almost any amount of time, any interpretation of how much time he was talking about is correct? Why are we assuming the interpretation that just happens to fit your idea is the correct one? I can just as easily make him say that god's one day is continuing for 100,000 of years.

Again, what a shitty inspirer God is. Can't even differentiate between a day and thousands of years.
