I think we did. You made some statement that might as well have been uttered by a mother who's son has blown himself to bits in a public place, but by rationalizing it as a "non religious" motive it makes it all right for you. Admirable even.
I dislike arguments like that because they are far too emotional to come to a reasonable solution to a problem. People who reason like that will keep on doing what they are doing (killing people) until either they are dead themselves or their goal is achieved and consequences and innocent lives be damned.
